Sun is shining in Midland
Morning all. The sun is shining- yea!!!! Well Madam had a good day yesterday. She is still feeling fine other than being constipated which she keeps telling me about!!!!! The pill that combats the nausea can give you constipation so she hasn't taken the pill this morning. It would be great if she could do without the pill. She has also complained that she has an abscess in her mouth and then told me she does not handle this well. Well I told her we are down 2 days out of 6 weeks so she should not be feeling down yet. Guess I am on top of the world today to take care of her. I think I will take her for a walk in the sun. Thanks for all your wishes. Have a great day

Hey Ian
ReplyDeleteWe love you both and think of you as we are in prayer. You have helped me focus on what is important. Thanks for your honesty.
Mark
Do not worry. It will go faster than you think. I've been there. We love you lots and pray that it will go smoothly. Dan Babakian
ReplyDeleteAaah, amazing what a bit of sunshine does on an African man!!
ReplyDeleteWell, if the decisions are simply about whether to take a pill or not, that makes it quite simple.. hee hee
Mouth abscesses aren't so nice - try getting some stuff from the drugstore to put on it - like a gel - which protects the raw area and aids healing. Guess she's taking all the necessary multivits etc..
Enjoy the sun, we got the rain!
HI Ian and Di, thinking and praying for you often. My dad is also having radiation for his bladder, and at 81 and 2 1/2weeks into treatment, still no side affects but tiredness. So we pray and trust God for the same for our Lady Di too. We not only have rain, but wind too, so enjoy your beautiful fall. Lots of love and Gods blessings
ReplyDeleteWe agree- the sun in itself can be such a positive pill! It certainly makes one feel better! We have also had some great sunshine, and even greater temperatures here in the UK- have had some lovely walks in the woods with the kids and doggie! (Enjoying our half term this week- and then of course Halloween at the weekend) Kyle can't wait to get his hands on all those sweeties!!
ReplyDeleteAnyway- thinking of you both daily, and am sure these 6 weeks will go quickly!
Lots of love, and big hugs
Duncan, Merle, Angus and Kyle xx
Hi IAn and Di, I have tried to comment but i never seem to push the right buttons... you are in my prayers, Ian I have always loved your unedited blunt honesty.. it is so refreshing and it's what makes you so trustworthy and humble... or maybe it's because i "suffer" from the same afflicition so i feel you are a kindred spirit.. and Lady Di is always that the gracious and genteel lady...even now with all the BLEEEHH love you guys heaps and tons... chemo was a black hole for me..very frightening.. visitors were instructed to rub my feet,, i found it very comforting...at times i could only stomach cold camomile tea and cold plain yoghurt and quick noodles once they had cooled down..my mouth was so sore..as to the bowel happenings..eish.. every colour and consistency.. one could write a book on that alone.. so she will guide you as to what comforts and nourishes her,, strength, courage and patience be yours beloved friends...gaby
